After months of anticipation, we finally got to see Google’s flagship Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3XL on October 10 at the Made by Google 2018 event. When it comes to price in India, Apple set the bar quite high with iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. Consequently, Google also increased their prices for this year’s flagship launches. According to Google, Pixel 3 64GB will be available for ₹71,000 while the Pixel 3 128GB just touches the ₹80,000 mark. Similarly, Pixel 3 XL 64GB which has a larger screen and a better processor will be available in India for just ₹83,000 while the 128GB variant of the Pixel 3 XL will be available for ₹92,000.
Apart from smartphones, Google has also launched the Pixel Stand which it claims to be the fastest wireless charger ever. The Google Pixel Stand will be available in India for ₹6,900 and will be up for pre-orders along with the smartphones.

Google Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) flexible OLED screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back, with a pixel density of 443ppi. The device sports an Aluminum frame with Hybrid coating, soft touch glass at the back.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, the Google Pixel 3 comes with 4GB RAM. On the storage front, the smartphone comes in either 64GB or 128GB capacities without a support for microSD card.
The Pixel 3 smartphones come with exclusive in-camera Google Lens suggestions that work in real-time on URLs, emails, phone numbers, addresses, and QR codes. The new Pixel smartphones will also come with a new Google Assistant feature called Call Screen – the AI-powered feature that will see the phone answer for you, ask who’s calling and why.
The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are YouTube Signature devices. Another highlight feature is the ‘Now Playing‘, which is an always-on music identification feature

There is not much difference in the specifications between the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3L. The notable difference, however, is in the display size and battery. The Pixel 3 XL has a 6.3-inch QHD +(2960 x 1440) flexible OLED with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. And HDR support and 100,000:1 contrast ratio.
The smartphone is backed by a 3430mAh battery with fast-charging support. Google claims that both can work for up to 7 hours with 15 minutes of single charge.
